Felixvet Introduces Maropitant Citrate Chewable Tablets for the Prevention of Vomiting and Motion Sickness in Dogs
Kansas City, Mo. — June 30, 2026 — Felixvet Inc. today announced the commercial availability of Maropitant Citrate Chewable Tablets, an FDA-approved antiemetic indicated for the prevention of acute vomiting and the prevention of vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs. Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on January 12, 2026, under ANADA 200-833, the product expands Felixvet’s growing portfolio of companion animal pharmaceuticals and provides veterinarians with an important treatment option for one of the most common conditions seen in veterinary practice.

Maropitant Citrate Chewable Tablets are indicated for the prevention of acute vomiting and the prevention of vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs.
The product is therapeutically equivalent to the pioneer drug and provides the same safety and efficacy profile. Maropitant Citrate Chewable Tablets are available in four strengths:
- 16 mg
- 24 mg
- 60 mg
- 160 mg
Each tablet is scored to support accurate dosing and is available in both bottle and blister pack presentations.
