Felixvet Introduces Firocoxib Chewable Tablets for Dogs for the Control of Osteoarthritis and Postoperative Pain

Kansas City, Mo. — July 21, 2026 — Felixvet Inc. today announced the commercial availability of Firocoxib Chewable Tablets for Dogs, an FDA-approved non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgery in dogs. Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on August 3, 2023, under ANADA 200-755, the product provides veterinarians with a trusted treatment option for both chronic and postoperative pain management.

Product Details

Four white plastic prescription bottles of Firocoxib Chewable Tablets for dogs in 227 mg and 57 mg strengths.
Felixvet Firocoxib Chewable Tablets are indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and postoperative pain and inflammation associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgery in dogs.

The product is available in two strengths:

  • 57 mg chewable tablets 
  • 227 mg chewable tablets 

Designed to support convenient administration and dosing flexibility, the tablets feature an appealing artificial meat flavor and are scored for easy and accurate dosing. The product is available in both 60-count and 180-count bottle presentations.
