Felixvet Introduces Firocoxib Tablets for Horses for the Control of Osteoarthritis Pain and Inflammation

Kansas City, Mo. — July 21, 2026 — Felixvet Inc. today announced the commercial availability of Firocoxib Tablets for Horses, an FDA-approved non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in horses. Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on February 23, 2026, under ANADA 200-841, the product expands Felixvet’s growing animal health portfolio and provides veterinarians and horse owners with an important treatment option for managing equine osteoarthritis.

Osteoarthritis is one of the most common causes of chronic pain and reduced mobility in horses. Firocoxib Tablets for Horses are administered once daily for up to 14 days for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in horses.

The product is therapeutically equivalent to the pioneer drug and provides the same safety and efficacy profile. Available as a 57 mg chewable tablet, Firocoxib Tablets for Horses feature a palatable beef flavor and a scored tablet design to support easy administration and accurate dosing. The product is available in 60-count and 180-count bottle presentations.
